When all the six holes are closed, the flute sounds A note of 4th octave (A4).

How to Play Complete Octave on D Natural Bansuri?
The full octave of the D scale on the D Natural Medium Bansuri is played as follows::
- D5 : Upper three holes closed
- E5 — Upper two holes closed
- F#5 : The top hole is closed
- G5 : Half of the top hole is closed
- A5 : When all six holes are covered and air is blown with a relatively strong force (if blown gently, the lower notes will be produced)
- B5 : When the last hole is opened (relatively stronger blow)
- C#6 : Last two holes are opened (relatively stronger blow)
- D6 : Upper three holes closed (relatively stronger blow)
Note : For A5, B5, C#6, & D6 notes, one has to blow relatively stronger, else lower octave notes will sound.

This flute is cheaper than others but has a nice sound. It is easy to play and requires less effort to blow, and the breath lasts longer compared to more expensive branded flutes that mostly sell for their name. So, it is good for beginners and comes at a reasonable price.
The bamboo quality is very good, thick, and well-seasoned, similar to other brand flutes (namely sold as premium flutes). The flute also has a nice shine like metal. The bag is good and keeps the flute safe. The logo on the flute is attractive, and a wooden cork is used instead of a rubber cork, which makes the tonal quality better.
