As a beginner i always used to think that why some flute makers charge 4000 for a flute which other flute makers are selling for just 1200?
Is it the quality of bamboo?? Or It is just few millimeter difference in placement of hole that is improving the tonal quality of a flute and hence making it expensive??
In order to satisfy my curiosity, as well as to begin my journey of learning flute, i decided to buy a professional flute and look for myself.
I searched a lot and then came across DPflutes which was offering professional flute at reasonable and justified price.
I bought this G base flute and here is what i noticed : making flute is not just about making holes, some flute makers just make holes, tie thread and sell the “concert” flute.
A professional flute maker starts his flute making where those fluter makers consider it completed.
They also have to make the holes smooth using sand papers so that air can pass or enter easily. After buying flute from dpflutes i came to know what YouTubers mean when they say “Javari”. I saw that for the first time and in no time i was able to realise the hardwork that it requires to make it, which justifies the price.
Things that i loved about DPflutes is the tonal quality and shining of the flute and one thing that i consider needs improvement is the quality of bag that they provide.
That all what i can write as a beginner, I hope it will be of help to beginners looking for a professional flute.
The rule is simple instead of buying a Rs 1200 flute whose real value is not even 500 buy a DPflute which provides great value for money. ♥

1.Sir agar aap order lete ho ya lena chahate ho… toh jab hum website open karte hai aur base flutes ya middle flutes mai jate hai toh out of stock batata hai…lekin humne sab woh enter kiya na right hand , 440hz etc toh niche ata hai 1 available…. toh isme baar baar karne se customer irritate ho jata hai…mere sath bhi hua tha…ye improve karna chahiye
